my pastor's recent facebook status.

May it always serve as a reminder when you hear someone start to pray for you that Jesus never stops praying for you (Hebrews 7:25)

praying.

I have a lot of things to be praying about right now.

One includes my friend Nicole. She's moving to Utah to do ministry to women who are leaving Polygamy. My heart is/was/will always be partly in Utah. It's a hard place to be. Nicole is amazing and has such a huge heart for this ministry and the people there. She already worked there this last summer, you can read about it here, and yet God has called her again to Utah. She graduated early, raised up enough support for a year or so, and is making the trek to UT tomorrow. Two friends, Leo and Nicole, who raised support to do Kingdom work. I love it.

The other includes my own journey. I'm looking forward to spending time this weekend with God to talk about all of it. I know what my passions are and I know what breaks my heart, yet I still have an uncertainty about life. I filled out some paperwork for Oakland yesterday. It's real. A temporary leave living as a missionary. I'm praying my heart does not become calloused towards sin, depravity, poverty, addiction, etc. I'm praying for a divine reliance on the Holy Spirit as Comforter and Teacher during that time.

I like praying for people too. If you ever need prayer, let me know. Honestly. I love interceding.
